Photo A Day ~ October 14-18: Coastal Scenes

I love being near the water. It brings me peace and inspires me to create. I could watch it for hours and never get bored. As I look back at my work over the years, water has been a common thread. I’ve concentrated on its reflections, movement and texture in my Ebb & Flow project, it’s a driving force behind much of my environmental work and my current interest in learning more about drinking water sources.  As I continue to grow as a photographer, I’m confident it will always be a major part of my work and my focus. This also means that it’s time for me to learn how to scuba dive and pick up some waterproof housings for the gear…

This week’s Photo A Day collection takes us to bodies of water in Alabama, Georgia, Virginia and Maine.

All images are available at my print store until November 15, 2013.
